Nelson Mandela once wrote, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”  The entire East Lycoming community epitomizes this philosophy.  The number of successes that our students achieve on a consistent basis is extraordinary.  From the classroom to the athletic field to the stage our students demonstrate the characteristics of Spartan PRIDE: Perseverance, Respect, Integrity, Discipline and Excellence.  These successes would not be possible if it were not for the powerful collaboration between parents, community members, teachers, administrators and students in the East Lycoming Community.   It is our mission and goal to bring Spartan PRIDE to life by encouraging our students to constantly challenge themselves and others to reach their full potential.  I feel humbled to be allowed to be part of such a powerful place and look forward to a successful school year.
